"Wonderful place, great host! Definitely will be back and make this the place to stay while exploring."

"This place was beautiful. Both the garden and the interior of the house (we stayed in the upper part) were decorated with incredible attention to detail, which made it a very cozy place to stay. They also have a self-made guidebook with things you can do during your stay, which we found useful. The host was very friendly and provided us with everything we needed. The breakfast, which is served at the country café down the road, was what you'd expect, but there's also a fully equipped kitchen in the room if you want to prepare your own meal. I don't think you'll find a place that will make you feel more at home in Harpers Ferry."

"Enjoying our visit here in this gem. The breakfasts are delicious. The decor reflects the history of the town. Having fun hiking around the streets, trails, and rivers. Hope to come back someday."

"Awesome little B&B in Harpers Ferry! Stay here now :) Shawn welcomed my husband and I (& our pup) to the B&B and was a gracious host. It was so nice to be able to get away for a few days and enjoy the peace and quiet that Harpers Ferry has to offer, along with plenty of charm! We kept our dog off of the furniture, and I recommend that others do the same, so that it stays nice for everyone for many years to come. Pets are allowed on a case by case basis for a fee. We stayed in the Carriage Suite which was great-it had a full kitchen and a wonderfully large window in the dining room/living room area that offers a nice view of the hillside near by. It was so refreshing to open it up and enjoy nature for a bit. The Appalachian Trail is super close, and the downtown area (Lower Town) is a nice walk away. We walked to dinner every night except one (when we cooked in the Carriage House suite). Tons of hiking trails and lots of neat historical sites near by to explore (plus, a really cool foot bridge)! Charles Town isn't too far away either-we went one day to a spa there. Also, check out The Vintage Lady gift shop in town (we bought some West Virginia honey & wine to take home). Again, I can't express this enough-for the price and location, you can't be beat! Also, Shawn is so friendly! He sliced up some fresh watermelon for us our first night there, and even cooked us breakfast himself on our last morning staying at the B&B. "
