"Wow. This was a rescue for two wayward hikers and their pooch. We got so lucky that the owners were so accommodating when we had some hiccups with our hike, and we ended up in a great spot with a great location, easy to walk in to town for dinner and regroup for our hike the next day. Just lovely."

Amazing location
"In more ways than one this location blew us away. Not only was it unique but it was quaint, quiet, and comfortable. The carriage house provided ample amounts of space plus plenty of extra so that you can have your friends or additional family tag along. For this particular trip it was myself, my wife, and our 6 month old son. We had him in his pack & play for the night and we enjoyed the comfortable queen sized bed in the bedroom. You have the ability to prepare you own meals or use the guidebook as reference for one of the many amazing restaurants that Shawn suggests. Sadly, we only stayed one night and did not get to enjoy it some more. We will be back for sure and when we are, we will be booking at Lily Garden again. It was just a walk to town to enjoy all of the history and sites that Harper's Ferry has to offer. Thank you again for a wonderful stay."

"I spent several nights at Lily Garden. I always wanted to hike at Appalachian Trail, and I was thrilled I had the opportunity of doing it - I walked towards the back and went left onto Fillmore St, and then walked across the lot of Brackett House into the Appalachian Trail that takes me down to the river where I swam. Then, I hiked along the trail via the train bridge. On the return, I stopped by nice shops in the downtown of Harper's Ferry including the store that sells oldest candies, and of course, I had a cone of ice cream". I also stopped by several nice museums (Lewis and Clark Expedition). I found the room to be very clean and comfortable. I also relaxed in the beautiful garden after a long day of hike. Also, I enjoyed the breakfast during the stay. I would come back again. Great Location."
